Oakdale Animal ShelterThe City of Riverbank contracts with the City of Oakdale for Animal Control Services. If you have an animal control problem (barking dogs, stray or vicious dog pick up, or deceased dog / cat disposal) please call Animal Control Services (Oakdale PD Dispatch) at 209-847-2231.
Adopting & LicensingIf you are interested in pet adoption, licensing, or lost and found - please call Oakdale Animal Shelter Office at 209-847-5625. Licensing FeesTo obtain a dog license the following requirements must be met:
- Applicants must provide proof of residence within the City limits of Riverbank (any utility bill or valid California driver license/ ID will meet this requirement).
- Current Rabies vaccine certificate
Altered Dog License Fee (with proof of spay/neuter certificate)1 Year License= $10.00
2 Year License= $20.00
3 Year Linces= $30.00
Unaltered Dog License Fee
1 Year License= $50.00
2 Year License= $100.00
3 Year Linces= $150.00
* Senior Citizen License discount is 50% off (must be 65 years and older with proof of ID).

Breeders Certificates- $100 (Valid for 1 litter within 1 year of issuance)
(Breeder Certificates issued only at the Oakdale Animal shelter)
