Planning Commission Vacancies
There is one vacancy at this time for the alternate seat; this seat is set to expire December 31, 2022. Applications for this vacancy on the City of Riverbank, Planning Commission will be accepted through Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
There will be two (2) primary seats and one (1) alternate seat set to expire December 31, 2022. A recruitment to receive applications will be conducted in October 2022 to fill the seats. Terms are for four years from January, 2022 - December, 2025. Primary Commissioners receive a stipend of $100 per meeting and the Alternate Commissioner receives $50 per attendance of a meeting; however, will receive the $100 when sitting in the absence of a primary Commissioner.
The Planning Commission was established by Ordinance Number 1981-018. The Commission is comprised of 5 primary members and 1 alternate with 1 serving as the Chair and 1 serving as Vice Chair.
The primary responsibility of the Planning Commission is to advise the City Council on matters of land use and the General Plan. The Commission makes recommendations for approval on planning projects and policies.
