Human Resources

The City’s Human Resources Division provides support and services to the City’s five Departments (Administrative Services, Development Services, Finance, Local Redevelopment Authority, and Parks & Recreation) and workforce of 47 full-time employees and approximately 30 part-time and seasonal employees.  Working closely together with the City’s Management Team we strive to attract and retain the most talented employees to provide exceptional customer service to our residents, customers, businesses, employees, retirees, and applicants. 

Responsibilities
The Human Resources Division is responsible for the overall functions of the City’s personnel system including:

  • Recruitment and Selection Process
  • Benefits Administration
  • Classification & Compensation Administration
  • Employee Training & Development
  • Labor & Employee Relations
  • Risk Management
  • Workers' Compensation
