Finance

The Finance Department functions as a coordinating link between all city departments and with agencies and individuals in the public and private sectors regarding all financial issues of the City of Riverbank. It is composed of the Finance Director, City Treasurer, an Accounting Manager, and three Account Clerks.

Responsibilities


 
The responsibilities of the Assistant City Manager/Director of Finance is to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the Finance Department including:
     
  • Accounting and Auditing
  • Budgeting
  • Cash management
  • Financial planning
  • License administration
  • Payroll
  • Property management
  • Purchasing
  • Treasury
  • Utility billing (Pay Your Bill Online)
The department also coordinates assigned activities with other city departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.
 
Warrant Registers

Warrant registers are reports which provide detailed information of approved payments made to the City's vendors on a monthly basis.
